The addition of Mattingly to DirectPointe’s board brings valuable experience for the company to meet its goals for growth. In particular, Mattingly brings demonstrated success in mergers and acquisitions with the ability to work agreements that are beneficial to all parties. His experience in building Utah companies that compete on a national and global level will help as DirectPointe continues to increase its presence across the United States.

Mattingly has a proven track record with many of Utah’s most successful technology companies including as an investor in his current position as managing director of Primary Colors, a private equity firm, and as an angel investor for the past 10 years for technology companies such as Omniture. As a co-founder of SBI-Razorfish and Novonyx, he led both companies to successful acquisitions. At SBI he helped establish the company as the leading interactive marketing firm in the country, which was ultimately acquired for more than $6 billion to become the foundation for Microsoft’s interactive marketing and advertising initiatives, and Novonyx, a joint venture between Netscape and Novell, was acquired by Novell. Mattingly also served in a number of executive positions at Novell, where he worked directly with Ray Noorda and Bob Frankenberg in managing the company.
