DirectPointe also provides annual preventative maintenance on managed printing assets (printers, scanners and fax machines), and have been able to extend the useful life of this equipment by an additional 12 to 24 months.

DirectPointe’s Technolo-G green initiative also includes recycling. In the past five years DirectPointe has:

• Recycled approximately 20,000 pounds of aluminum from used toner cartridges,
• Recycled approximately 30,000 pounds of end of life electronics or eWaste,
• Prevented approximately 215,000 quarts of oil from being used for the creation of new toner cartridges and
• Recycled approximately 100,000 pounds of cardboard, office paper, and packaging waste.
